Lars Rudolph (born August 18, 1966 in Wittmund , East Friesland ) is a German actor , musician and composer .

Life

In 1984 he founded the punk jazz band KIXX with Willehad Grafenhorst and Theo Leffers , which then performed internationally with Wigald Boning and Jim Meneses . He stayed in this band until 1994 and was also active in other music projects. After graduating from high school, he first studied music at the University of Oldenburg . Eventually he completed various acting courses and soon got film and theater roles. In 1997 he received the Max Ophüls Prize for best young actor for his work in Jan Ralske's Not a Love Song , which opened up a further career for him as an actor.
