Wolfgang Zander (writer)

Wolfgang Zander (* 1956 in Aschersleben ) is a German writer .

Life

Wolfgang Zander studied hydraulic engineering for a few semesters at the TU Dresden and then worked as a nurse in Magdeburg , as a museum employee at the Klopstock Museum in Quedlinburg and as a tram driver and book seller in Berlin . He studied political science (diploma), theater studies and, most recently, literature at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig . His radio plays were u. a. produced by WDR and RBB . Together with Christian Hussel and Steffen Birnbaum , he founded the Leipzig Authors' Syndicate in 1992 , which has literary performances.

He has been working as a freelance writer since 1992 and has lived in Potsdam since 1995.
