Barbara Eisenmann (* May 1960 ) is a German radio writer and director .

Life

Barbara Eisenmann grew up in Munich . She studied Hispanic Studies at the University of Granada and German at the Free University of Berlin , where she did her doctorate in linguistics with a thesis on storytelling in therapy discussions . At the same time, she completed video training for postgraduate artists and academics at the Berlin University of the Arts . She has been working for public broadcasters since 2000, producing features, doing interviews and writing reviews.

Works

Eisenmann has placed one focus of her work on political economy . She deals with the development of capitalism and contemporary neoliberalism .

Barbara Eisenmann developed some of the audio pieces together with the artist Frieder Butzmann .
