Jochen Meißner (* 1966 in Remscheid ) is a German radio feature writer, radio play critic and journalist .

Life

Since studying German, philosophy and political science in Cologne and Berlin, Jochen Meißner has worked as a permanent radio critic for the Funkkorrespondenz media service (renamed Medienkorrespondenz in 2015 ), but also published his reviews in various daily newspapers and in the magazine Theater heute . He also works as a freelance feature writer for various ARD broadcasters. From 2006 to 2010 he was the artistic director of the radio play symposium at the Eider at the Nordkolleg Rendsburg, which is documented in the anthology Radio Play is Beautiful . Since 2008 he has been chairman of the jury and co-organizer of the Berlin radio play festival - the festival of independent radio play . Over time, he belonged to various radio play juries, including that of the radio play price war blind , the German Children's Radio Play Prize , the radio play price of the ARD , which the radio play of the month and the nomination jury of the German Audio Book Prize . In 2014 he received a special honor from the Bert Donnepp ​​Prize for media journalism for his work as a radio play critic . He has been running the blog hoerspielkritik.de since 2012.
