Günter Rüger

Günter Rüger (born July 24, 1926 in Leipzig ; † May 14, 2015 ) was a German director and actor .

Life

Günter Rüger was trained as an actor and director in his hometown of Leipzig . He then went to the newly founded Theater Junge Generation in Dresden for a short time . From here he was committed to the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam in 1954 , where he worked for almost 55 years until his retirement. He was also hired regularly for film and television roles.

Günter Rüger was married to the actress Inge Noack. His grave is in the New Cemetery in Potsdam.
