Reviews

In New Germany , Horst Knietzsch remarked about Walter Flegel, the author of this film, who as an NVA officer and writer has already published several novels:

"With the collaboration of Wolfgang Ebeling, the book was created for an interesting film that is well worth seeing, even if it still appears a little roughly hewn and forced in individual parts and a finer and also psychologically more coherent interweaving would have served its dramaturgical framework."

The Lexicon of International Films writes:

"Actually poor film with dramatic weaknesses that cannot be overlooked."
