The 100 million US dollars Date (also rendezvous with a millionaire ) is a German film drama of director Josh Broecker from the year 2007. In the lead role embodies Katharina Boehm single mother Nika Berndssen.

Nika Berndssen has been a single mother since the death of her husband. Your child Oliver always asks a lot of questions, which she can only partially answer, and often she even lacks any answer. It may also contribute that she is actually overwhelmed with the whole situation anyway, because at the same time she earns the entire living for herself and her son with a small computer company.
There comes a time when Oliver has enough that he almost always only receives unsatisfactory answers to his questions and so he sends an email to Bill Gates . Of course, this does not end up in the billionaire's inbox personally, but at least at the responsible press office. When Oliver reads the message there, an employee breaks the rules and pretends to be the actual addressee. Under the guise of being the software giant personally, employee John Lindquist answers Oliver's messages.
On the assumption that Bill Gates answered him personally, Oliver moves his mother to travel with him to Seattle to meet Bill Gates. When they arrive in Washington, they learn that it was only one of Bill Gates' employees who answered Oliver's messages.
