Peter Atanasov
Peter Atanassow (* 1968 in Dresden ) is a German actor and theater director .
Life
Peter Atanassow received his acting training from 1990 to 1994 at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam - Babelsberg . After graduating, he went to the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg for a season before moving to Berlin , where he played mainly in the independent theater scene and also worked in numerous "mainstream" TV formats in order to earn money. In the ProSieben early evening series Mallorca - Search for Paradise (1999–2000), he was part of the main cast as bartender Jan Keppler. After the shooting on Mallorca Atanassow was engaged for one season (2000/01) at the Magdeburg Theater.
He worked for television a. a. collaborated with directors Josh Broecker , Johannes Fabrick and Klaus Krämer . The ZDF occupied Atanassow for its Inga Lindström -Fernsehreihe.
In the cinema he was seen in Tom Tykwer's film Drei (2010) as Adam's colleague alongside Devid Striesow .
He also took on several roles in TV series and crime series. He was in episode roles for numerous TV series such as gynecologist Dr. Markus Merthin (1995), Doppelter Einsatz (1996), Siska (2005) and SOKO Wismar (2008, as a suspect metal worker at the side of Gunda Ebert and Joachim Tomaschewsky ) in front of the camera.
Atanasov has worked as a theater director at the prison theater "aufBruch" since 2001, which realizes plays in various Berlin penal institutions. Atanasov staged a. a. Plays like Der Horatier by Heiner Müller , Penthesilea and Achill after Heinrich von Kleist , Die Maschinenstürmer based on a drama by Ernst Toller , class enemy by Nigel Williams , Lord of the Flies and Hamlet .
Peter Atanassow lives in Berlin.
