Kawanori Dai

Kawanori Dai ( transcription of Japanese カワノリ台 for Prasiolahügel ) is a small terrace on the island Ongulkalven in the archipelago Flatvær before the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Lands .
Japanese scientists mapped it on the basis of measurements and aerial photographs from the years 1957 to 1962 and named it in 1994. The name is derived from the Japanese name for green algae of the genus Prasiola .
