Ongulkalven

Ongulkalven ( translated from Norwegian , Kalb des Ongul (fishing hook) , English Ongulkalven Island ) is a small island off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 1.5 km west of Ongul Island in the Lützow-Holm Bay .

Norwegian cartographers carried out a mapping in 1946 based on aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen Expedition 1936/37 and gave it its descriptive name due to its relative geographical location to Ongul Island.
