Klaus Krämer (director)

Klaus Krämer (born August 31, 1964 in Gosheim ) is a German film director and screenwriter .

Life

Klaus Krämer completed his training as a technical draftsman before he worked as a stage technician and assistant director at the theaters in Freiburg and Esslingen am Neckar . In 1991 he began studying directing at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin . There he worked as a cameraman and lighting technician for short films by fellow students such as Ed Herzog , Thure Riefenstein and Sebastian Edschmid and directs various short films. In 1998, Krämer made his cinema debut with the black comedy Three Chinese with the Double Bass . His directorial work to date includes episodes from the series Tatort for Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) and Polizeiruf 110 for Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) . Klaus Krämer lives in Berlin.
