Thure Riefenstein

Thure Riefenstein (born October 11, 1965 in Langenau ) is a German actor and director .

Life

Thure Riefenstein began his acting career in the theater, including in New York ( The Maids , director: Jason Mc Donnel Buzzas), at the Theater des Westens Berlin and Schauspielhaus Hamburg ( Der Blaue Engel , director: Peter Zadek & Jerome Savary), Berliner Ensemble ( Pericles , director: Peter Palitzsch).

This was followed by the Italian-German co-production Die Kreuzritter - The Crusaders , 666 - Don't trust anyone you sleep with! , Kick Fire - Without any warning . In the ZDF crime series Kommissarin Lucas , Thure Riefenstein played from 2003 to 2008 alongside Ulrike Kriener in the leading role of Kommissar Stefan Deuter. The episode The Interrogation was nominated for the Adolf Grimme Prize in 2007. For the TV movie Böseckendorf - The night in which a village disappeared , Thure Riefenstein u. a. nominated for the Bambi Audience Award 2009 .

He starred in the Canadian movie Sophie from 2010, as well as in 2012 in Behind the Candelabra .
