Offside trap is a thriller of HR by Marc Hertel in 2003 and appeared as the 247th episode of the film series Polizeiruf 110 . It is the last case that the investigator trio Schlosser ( Dieter Montag ), Reeding ( Dennenesch Zoudé ) and Dreyer ( Barbara Rudnik ) will investigate.
The Offenbach police officers have to solve the death of a football fan. Their investigations lead into the ranks of the association members.
action
After Commissioner Robert Grosche ( Oliver Stokowski ) fell victim to an attack in the gray area , the investigative trio is completed again by Simone Dreyer ( Barbara Rudnik ).
Paul Ramlow is found dead after a soccer game. Initial surveys of football fans and residents do not reveal any evidence. However, the young man has already appeared under criminal law, which was not conducive to his own football career. According to his coach at the time, Ramlow was very talented. The main competitor at the time was Frank Mathias, with whom Ramlow had played in a team, but with whom he had not got along very well. After a sports injury, Mathias had to switch from active to coaching career. However, his fans still consider him to be their hero, through whom they rose at the time.
After the DNA evaluation has been completed, adhesions on the fan scarf of the victim Stefan Klein can be assigned. He admits to have put the scarf on the dead man so that it should look like an act by hooligans. He wanted to protect his idol Frank Mathias. He happened to see him arguing with Ramlow and then stabbing him. When Mathias is arrested, he admits the deed that he would have committed out of jealousy because his old adversary had taken his girlfriend away from him. Ramlow wanted to make peace that day, but Mathias hadn't been ready.
background
With this last case, the Offenbach investigators trio also adopted Director Marc Hertel from the Police 110 , who led the directing four of the six Offenbacher cases. The screenwriters Rudolf Bergmann and Rolf Silber were there in five of the cases.
criticism
Rainer Tittelbach from tittelbach.tv thinks the film is: “nothing more than a Sunday murder search according to the pattern F. The usual suspects, a bit of half-hearted social criticism. After the thriller is before the thriller. Wherever there is a lack of material substance, the director has to work. And the staged according to the motto: When policemen expresses mourning. You never know for sure whether the displeasure with which the inspectors are investigating is intentional, or whether the frustrated tone that runs through the film is not also a little bit with the sub-optimal chemistry between Zoudé, Sonntag and Rudnik had to do during filming. "
The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm praised this police call with the "thumbs up" and said this time it was: "Staged calmly and with a feeling for the milieu".
