Guido A. Schick

Guido Alexander Schick (born February 22, 1970 in Haarlem , Netherlands ) is a German actor.

Life

Schick was born in the Netherlands to German parents. He grew up there until he was 6 years old before his family returned to Germany. Since 1976 he grew up in Gernsheim . When he attended the Gernsheim grammar school , his affection for acting was awakened by the Theater AG.

Before he finally embarked on an acting career, however, he completed an apprenticeship as an offset printer.

After only briefly working in the profession, he moved to Hamburg.

He then received another training from 1993 to 1997 at the School for Drama in Hamburg. After engagements in u. a. International companies he played on the stages a. a. in Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Vienna.

Sebastian Schipper ( Victoria ) discovered him in 1999 for his first work, the cinema production Absolute Giganten . In the role of Dulle, who challenges Snake to a table football duel, the film ranks among the most important Hamburg films. The film won the German Film Prize in silver.

Engagements in numerous film and television productions followed.

In 2014 Dieter Wedel brought him back on stage as the Danish King Iring for the Nibelungen Festival.

To this day he continues to work in front of the camera and as a speaker (including Die Drei ??? and TKKG ) for various other radio plays / advertising.

Released as an audio book under his direction - Juliet, Naked and Agatha Christie (The Christmas Mysteries).

He lives with his new wife in Hamburg.
