action

Bodo Schüler uses the opportunity when Pastor Stefan Book deals with the topic of love and partnership in his Sunday sermon and asks him for help. His son Hanno fell in love with his illegitimate daughter Ina of all people and is determined to marry her. Stefan Bock should use his influence and bring the two apart without them knowing about the family relationships. Although the pastor is not convinced of Schüler's request, he tries his luck to divide the newly in love couple. But of all people, Book's sister Rita is working against him, because she was Hanno's childhood sweetheart and is supposed to organize the wedding for him. So Stefan Book is desperate and neglects his girlfriend Sabine. When she reveals to him that she is going abroad for some time, Book is inclined to drop everything for a short time and to accompany her. Rita accidentally learns about Hanno and Ina's family relationship. Immediately she informs the two of what makes Hanno so angry that he beats up his own father. He suspects that he would just not allow him his luck and that the whole thing would be an invention of his. Ina, meanwhile, is devastated, but she didn't expect the energy from Rita Book. Without further ado, she had a DNA test carried out, which now shows that Ina is Bodo's daughter, but Hanno is not his biological son. So the wedding can now take place as planned and Book's young colleague, Anke Bertram, is allowed to carry out her first major official act. In the end, Pastor Stefan Book made his personal plan to accompany his girlfriend Sabine, but it didn't come true. His church has grown too dear to his heart that he does not want to leave it.

Reviews

Tilmann P. Gangloff from tittelbach.tv draws the following verdict on this film: “The core idea of the third film with Jan Fedder as a Protestant pastor on St. Pauli is not new, but it was seldom packed as original as in this neighborhood comedy. [...] There are many nice ideas, some great moments, the actors, especially Jan Fedder, are all worth seeing, and so 'The Harbor Pastor and the Blue from Heaven' has only one drawback: two other storylines run pretty close . "

Frank Jürgens wrote for the Osnabrücker Zeitung : “The third film in the series 'Der Hafenpastor' is a classic tabloid comedy on the subject of a completely forbidden love. Once again, it is the outstanding ensemble that makes the series worth seeing in the first place. The great actors cover up the weak points in Stefan Wild's script with playful ease. Unfortunately, at the end of the story, with an all too predictable stroke of the pen, the story dissolves, under which the previously touched upon problems collapse. But to compensate for this, director Jan Hinrik Drevs brings a pleasant breath of fresh air into his burlesque staging between the neighborhood and the church. "
