Laurenz Lerch

Laurenz Lerch (* 1994 in Lindenberg im Allgäu ) is a German actor and author .

Life

Laurenz Lerch grew up as one of four children in the Westallgäu near Lake Constance. At the age of 14 he took part in the Baden-Württemberg Youth Film Prize for the first time. Due to his successful participation in 2010 he was accepted into the funding program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research "Film Class Germany". As part of this funding program, he wrote and directed his first short film Tea Time , with which he premiered at the Up-and-Coming Festival in Hanover and then received the prize for the best ensemble performance at the Baden Württemberg Youth Film Prize.

In 2012 he was awarded the Youth Film Prize for best acting for his portrayal in the film Traumhaft . In it he embodied the young, insecure Linus who quarrels with his feelings towards his best friend and after initial hesitation starts to withdraw.

In 2013, he played alongside Alexandra Schiller in Veikko, her brother Mark, who has already passed away, but lives on in her imagination and is there to help with life issues. For the portrayal, Lerch was again awarded the Baden-Württemberg Young Talent Award for Best Actor.

In 2014 he won the award for Best Screenplay for the short film Tabular CV and finally the film was anchored in the Baden-Württemberg curriculum as a DVD recommendation by the State Media Center for Education and Research.

In 2015 Lerch was seen alongside Jan Fedder and Margarita Broich in the television film Der Hafenpastor und das Blaue vom Himmel as petty criminal Mike.

In 2016 he had his first leading role in television in the literary film Die Freibadclique , directed by Friedemann Fromm . In it Lerch played Hosenmacher, the baby of the outdoor pool clique.

In October 2016, Lerch began his acting training at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts .

Lerch lives in Stuttgart .
