Tim Grobe (* 1969 in Duisburg ) is a German actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Tim Grobe first studied German at the University of Cologne . From 1993 to 1997 he trained as an actor at the Berlin University of the Arts . After completing his training, he received an engagement at the Wuppertal Municipal Theaters . There he was a permanent member of the ensemble from 1997 to 2000. In 2000 he was named “Best Young Actor” at the North Rhine-Westphalia Theatertreffen. In 2000 he also received the “Gaukler”, the “Best Actor” award from the city of Wuppertal. From 2000 to 2002 he was engaged at the Schauspielhaus Köln , then from 2002 to 2005 at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden . As a guest he appeared onSchauspielhaus Zürich , Theater an der Wien and Schauspiel Frankfurt (season 2002/03).
