Prinz Himmelblau und Fee Lupine is a German fairy tale film from the series Six in One Stroke from 2016 directed by Markus Dietrich. It is based on a fairy tale by Christoph Martin Wieland from his collection of fairy tales, Dschinnistan . Prince Himmelblau is played by Jonathan Berlin , the fairy Lupine by Ruby O. Fee .

Prince Himmelblau wants to choose his bride himself and goes on a search with his squire Fred. On the edge of the empire he discovers the graceful lupine in a meadow near the fairy village. She finds the stranger interesting, but runs away out of shyness. Himmelblau lets set up camp for the night because he was able to make her promise that they will meet again in the evening.
The queen has watched her son's encounter with the fairy through magic binoculars and does not agree with the event at all, because she wanted to choose a wealthy princess as the wife of her sky blue. In addition, she abhores fairies and brings the witch Confidante back from exile so that she can put a curse on the two that will separate “young happiness”.
Sky blue gets a cold heart and Lupine an ugly exterior. She then repudiates sky blue, the witch has initially triumphed. The spell changes every night, one nice but cold, the other good but ugly.
After the queen has seen her son in the ugly version, the witch offers her to redeem him. But she plans to make him submissive and so come to the throne. A hunt between the witch and fairies begins because Lupine has temporarily made sky blue submissive and flees with him from the witch. The witch confronts them and kills Sky Blue, but is then overwhelmed by the singing of the fairies and disappears.
Lupine's sister tries to save Sky Blue, but Lupine has to give her life for his. Sky blue then wakes up, recognizes her and kisses the dead woman, who then wakes up - the spell is broken. Then the two couples - sky blue and Lupine, his squire and her sister - go to the fairy ball together.

RB, MDR and NDR produce together. The film was made from June 21 to July 8, 2016 in Bremen , Verden (Aller) , Schwanewede and at Falkenstein Castle in Saxony-Anhalt. The TV premiere took place on December 25, 2016.
