Patrick Güldenberg

Patrick Güldenberg (* 1979 in Hamburg ) is a German actor .

Life

At the age of twelve he was already in front of the camera for the children's series Neues vom Süderhof . Over the years, there have been continuous appearances in television and cinema films. From 1997 he played theater in the youth club of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. His first movie was in 1999 Sonnenallee .

Patrick Güldenberg studied acting at the Hanover University of Music and Drama from 1999 to 2003 . He had theater engagements at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg , the Thalia Theater Hamburg and the Schauspielhaus Zurich , where he was a permanent member of the ensemble from the 2009/2010 to 2012/2013 season. Here he worked with directors Frank Castorf, René Pollesch, Alvis Hermanis, Sebastian Nübling, Barbara Frey and Karin Beier, among others.

Patrick Güldenberg made his debut at the Salzburg Festival in 2007 in the role of Demetrius in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream . In 2013 and 2014 he appeared on stage in the role of Jedermann's good companion in the Jedermann production.

In 2014 he went to the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz and plays here in Kaputt (director: Frank Castorf), The Brothers Karamasow (director: Frank Castorf) and in Untitled No. 1 by Herbert Fritsch , "Halleluja" ( Director: Christoph Marthaler) and "Die Cabale der Hypheiligen" (Director: Frank Castorf)

In 2017 he moved to the Berliner Ensemble and played in "Caligula" (directed by Antu Romero Nunes) and "Les Miserables" (directed by Frank Castorf), as well as in the "Threepenny Opera" directed by Robert Wilson.

In 2014 Güldenberg appeared in the movie comedy Wir sind die Neuen by Ralf Westhoff .
