Crescentia Thinner

Crescentia Dünßer (born February 28, 1960 in Oberstdorf ), also Crescentia Dünsser , is a German director and actress as well as a former theater director.

Life

After graduating from high school, Dünßer studied German and theater studies in Munich for four semesters. She then graduated from the Conservatory for Music and Theater in Bern. She completed her training as an actress.

Her first engagement led her to Claus Peymann in Bochum. In 1986, she and Otto Kukla founded the Zelt Ensemble Theater , a free theater that performed in its own circus tent in German-speaking countries for the next seven years. From 1993 to 1996 she directed the Zimmer Theater Tübingen together with Otto Kukla . From 1996 to 1999 she worked freelance with Kukla at the Staatstheater Stuttgart , in Munich at the Bavarian Theater Academy in the directing team. Together with Martina Döcker , the documentary Mit Haut und Haar was created for ZDF .

From 1999 to 2004 she was director of Theater Neumarkt in Zurich together with Otto Kukla . Since then she has been freelance, primarily as a director at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, as an actress also in theater and film. Since 1996 she has been teaching at the Bavarian Theater Academy in Munich, the Zurich University of the Arts , the Bern University of the Arts , the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz and the Berlin University of the Arts . She is a member of the German Academy of Performing Arts .
