Markus Trebitsch

Markus Trebitsch (born September 26, 1950 in Hamburg ) is a German television producer with a few trips to film production.

Live and act

Markus Trebitsch got to know the television industry and the production business from the bottom up through his father Gyula Trebitsch . In 1975 he went into business for himself and founded his own production company, Aspect Telefilm-Produktion GmbH , which did not belong to the comprehensive Gyula Trebitschs holding company. Until the end of 2007 Trebitsch remained a shareholder in his own company, in which he still held a blocking minority of 25 percent at that time. From January 1st, 2008, Trebitsch operated as an independent producer. Nevertheless, Trebitsch remained connected to the Telefilm aspect, which now 95 percent belonged to Spiegel TV , as a producer.

Markus Trebitsch has produced show and anniversary galas for German-speaking entertainment greats such as Loriot , Liselotte Pulver and Christiane Hörbiger as well as series (e.g. Evelyn Hamann's Stories from Life or Zwei Münchner in Hamburg with Elmar Wepper and Uschi Glas as well as Two Brothers with both Wepper brothers) and ambitious single films ( Neger, Neger, Schornsteinfeger! with Veronica Ferres and the Siegfried Lenz films The Man in the Stream and The Lightship , both with Jan Fedder in the respective leading roles). For the same name remake of the once (1957) movie material produced by his father Gyula The Zurich engagement he could get exactly the last time before the movie camera for half a century to Lilo powder.

Markus Trebitsch is the brother of the Hamburg television producer Katharina Trebitsch .
