The Zurich engagement - script for love is a German comedy film by Stephan Meyer from 2007 , which was produced for Das Erste . The remake was made fifty years after the original film Die Zürcher Verlobung mit Liselotte Pulver .

The fiancé of the writer Juliane Thomas has just separated from her, when her uncle Hans comes and takes her in as a temporary worker in his dental practice in Berlin. Juliane is grateful to her uncle because she finds the necessary distance here. In her new job, she finally met the likeable Swiss Jean Berner, a doctor. This accompanies his friend, the director Arbogast (nickname "Buffalo"). She falls in love with Jean. In the course of the plot and the collaboration with "Buffalo" she realizes that she actually fell in love with him and not with Jean.
