Ina Holst

Ina Holst (born January 8, 1956 in Hamburg ; † August 2, 2017 there ) was a German actress , director and acting teacher.

Life

Ina Holst attended the Hedi Höpfner drama school , Hamburg, and from 1979–1982 the Kiel drama school. She made guest appearances at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg (inter alia in "Korbes", "M. Butterfly"). She had stage appearances with solo programs and cabaret (Schauspielhauskeller Hamburg, Speicherstadt Hamburg , German Customs Museum ).

Since 1985 she has been in front of the camera for film and television productions. Here she was mainly used as a supporting actress and played small roles, often batches. She embodied receptionists, cleaning ladies, landladies, shop assistants, cashiers, nurses and other service personnel. Often their appearances were limited to one scene. Due to her appearance and voice, however, she was able to create individual, memorable portraits here too.

In the movie Absolute Giganten (1998) she was "Ricco's Mutti", the mother of Ricco ( Florian Lukas ), one of the three male leading actors. In the television film Die Affäre Semmeling (2001) she played a member of the Greens . In Tatort: ​​Lastrumer Mixture (2002) she was the hairdresser Anna. She played the housekeeper Minchen in the television film Problemezone Mann (2002; starring Steffen Groth ). In the movie peas at half past six (2004) she was the landlady. In the television film Die Diebin und der General she played the nurse Ilona , alongside Jürgen Hentsch and Katja Riemann in the leading roles.

This was followed by appearances in Der Bernsteinfischer (2005, as Kramersfrau), The Night of the Great Flood (2005, as Mrs Piechowiak) and Der Mann im Strom (2006; as a waitress in the pub, with Jan Fedder in the lead role). In the television comedy Die Schimmelreiter (2008) she had the small role of Dörthe; she played the ex-girlfriend of the movie character Hinne. In 2008 she was directed by Heinrich Breloer in his Buddenbrooks film adaptation; she played the cook for the Buddenbrook family. In the ZDF television film Herzversagen (2012) she played the patient Ms. Jäschke.

Holst also had episode roles a. a. in the series Ritas Welt (2000), Die Pfefferkörner (2004), Der Landarzt (2004 and 2006; as wife and mother Hilde Harmsen), assignment in Hamburg (2006; as university secretary Ms. Beussen), Der Dicke (2007; as an employee in cleaning), emergency call Hafenkante (2009; as a druggist), SOKO Wismar (2010; as the café owner Carola Schwarz), Sesamstraße (2011; as a cashier in the circus) and Großstadtrevier (2012; as a mail carrier Ms. Uppenkamp).

From 2013 to the beginning of 2015 Ina Holst was in the main cast of the ZDF series Kripo Holstein . She played the takeaway owner Heidi Lürsen. In May 2017 she was in front of the camera for the last time for the ARD series Großstadtrevier .

Holst has worked as an acting coach for many years parallel to her work as an actress. She also realized her own theater projects, which she directed. Holst lived in Hamburg .
