Dieter Montag (born January 1, 1949 in Helbra ) is a German actor .

Life

Montag studied drama from 1966 to 1970 at the Film Academy in Potsdam-Babelsberg , later worked at various Berlin theaters, such as the Volksbühne, the Deutsches Theater , the Berliner Ensemble and, after the fall of the Wall, at the Schiller Theater . At the same time, he also worked as an actor in film and television productions in often cozy, phlegmatic roles - preferably in crime novels.

Dieter Montag became known, among other things, for his role as taxi driver Harry in Solo Sunny , a role he satirized in the 1986 comedy Rabenvater . After reunification he often appeared in television series such as Our Teacher Doctor Specht or A Case for Two , and from 1998 to 2003 as an investigator in Police Call 110 , later again in Police Call 110 but in a different role.
