Little Angels is a thriller of HR by Michael Knof in 1998 and appeared as 200th episode of the film series Polizeiruf 110 . It is the first episode with the investigator trio Schlosser ( Dieter Montag ), Reeding ( Chantal de Freitas ) and Grosche ( Oliver Stokowski ).

The appearance of an angel figure on the art market causes the police to take up an unsolved murder of a security guard again.

action

The 17-year-old Tanja lets businessman Max Kallmann take her with him late in the evening. After the trip, he invites her for a glass of champagne, but has far more suggestive intentions. When she notices this, she knocks him down and takes the little angel statue with her as "compensation" with which she smashed a window in order to get out of the house. Little does she know that this puts her in great danger, as Kallmann reported the figure as stolen after an alleged break-in in order to collect the insurance money. A security guard was killed in the robbery, which could give him away if the figure appeared in public. He asks his friend Bob Scherner for help in getting the figure back.

Tanja wants to have the angel valued by an antique dealer, who quickly recognizes the figure and notifies the police. When Commissioner Robert Grosche, who has just started his job in Offenbach, arrives, Tanja is already gone. Due to the history of the little statue, the police take the case seriously, especially since the murder case was not solved at the time.

After Tanja tells her friend Kai about the incidents after the disco, he comes up with the idea of blackmailing Kallmann. He instructs Scherner to deliver the requested money. Kai appears with his friend Ronny at the agreed meeting point, who immediately messes with Scherer and dies in the process. When Grosche and his colleagues Reeding and Schlosser examine the dead man, they find Kallmann's phone number in his pocket. This makes the whole thing particularly explosive for the investigators.

Carol Reeding asks about Ronny's friends and finds the lead to Tanja and Kai. But Scherer is also hot on their heels. He wants to intercept Tanja on the S-Bahn , but she escapes him. When he is chasing after Kai late in the evening, he just comes across how the boy Kallmann has ordered a new handover location. The two crooks get into an argument and do not notice how the investigators arrive. Scherer and Kai die in the exchange of fire. Investigations can be initiated against Kallmann through the appearance of the statue that Tanja hands over to the police.

background

Martin Semmelrogge can be seen in a supporting role as the seedy bartender Schorschie .

criticism

The critics of the TV magazine TV Spielfilm praised this police call and wrote: “The first Offenbach case seems hasty and immature, but it is pretty malicious. Oliver Stokowski appeared five times as Inspector Grosche, while colleague Chantal de Freitas was the first dark-skinned investigator on German TV to only appear on three missions. "
