List of cultural monuments in Meiningen's old town
The list of cultural monuments in the Meiningen old town lists the cultural and architectural monuments of the historic old town of the district town of Meiningen in southern Thuringia . The old town consists of four districts and has around 3500 inhabitants.
A total of around 240 individual monuments , 16 monument ensembles , 8 ground monuments and 3 garden monuments are currently registered in Meiningen , of which there are around 70 individual monuments, 4 monument ensembles and 3 ground monuments in Meiningen's old town (as of February 2010). The registration of all monuments in the list of monuments of the Lower Monument Protection Authority in Meiningen has not yet been completed. The list does not claim to be complete.
