Lars Wellings

Lars Wellings (born August 21, 1962 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German actor .

Life

Lars Wellings attended the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media from 1984 to 1988 , where he studied acting and classical guitar . Stations in his stage career have been the Residenztheater in Munich, the Zurich Schauspielhaus , the Wiesbaden State Theater , the Lower Austria State Theater and the Bad Vilbel Castle Festival . Wellings was Major von Tellheim in Lessing's Minna von Barnhelm and Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet , he played in the stage version of Der Turm based on the novel of the same name by Uwe Tellkamp or in the plays Drei Mal Leben and The God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza . In 2000 he was awarded the Hessian Theater Prize, the following year he founded the acoustic duo Herz-Haft , with which he performed at the Wiesbaden State Theater.

Lars Wellings made his comrade debut in 1996 in a crime scene episode. Since then he has been seen on the screen again and again, for example in Police Call 110 , at the SOKOs in Cologne and Rhein-Main or in the feature films Nothing for Cowards and Doctor Games .

In addition, Lars Wellings took part in two radio play productions for WDR in 1999 . He lives in Wiesbaden.
