Quiers is a French municipality with 668 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . The place is about twelve kilometers northeast of Melun on the D201 road.
history
The place is first handed down in 1065 with the name Villa que décétur Quadrex . In the Ancien Régime the place belonged to the chapter of Champeaux .
