Courtacon is a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne in the Ile-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Provins (until 2015 canton of Villiers-Saint-Georges ) in the Arrondissement of Provins . It borders in the northwest with Leudon-en-Brie , in the northeast with Saint-Mars-Vieux-Maisons , in the east with Cerneux , in the southeast with Augers-en-Brie and Les Marêts , in the south with Champcenest and in the west with Beton-Bazoches . The residents call themselves Courtaconnais .

The Route nationale 4 and the former RN 304 cross in Courtacon. The latter was downgraded to a departmental road.
