Neufmoutiers-en-Brie is surrounded by the neighboring communities Villeneuve-le-Comte in the north, Mortcerf in the east and northeast, La Houssaye-en-Brie in the east and southeast, Les Chapelles-Bourbon in the south, Tournan-en-Brie in the southwest, Favières in the west and Villeneuve-Saint-Denis in the northwest.
