Bannost-Villegagnon is a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Provins and the Canton of Provins (until 2015 Canton of Nangis ). The residents call themselves Bannostiens-Villegagnonnais .

geography

It is bordered by Dagny to the northwest , Frétoy to the northeast, Boisdon to the east, Bezalles and Saint-Hilliers to the southeast, Chenoise-Cucharmoy to the south and Jouy-le-Châtel to the west . In addition to the main settlement, Bannost-Villegagnon also includes the former municipality of Villegagnon and the hamlets of Les Essarts, Marchelong, Villefond and La Conquillie.
