Chalautre-la-Petite is a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne in the Ile-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Provins in the arrondissement of the same name . It is bordered by Poigny to the northwest , Provins to the north, Sourdun to the east, Soisy-Bouy to the south and Sainte-Colombe to the west . The residents call themselves Chalautriers . A stream called Ruisseau des Méances flows in Chalautre-la-Petite . The area around the village center is partially forested and is largely determined by agriculture .
