The residents call themselves Capello-Rablaisiens. It borders on Fontenailles to the west and north, Nangis to the north-east, Fontains to the east, Villeneuve-les-Bordes and Coutençon to the south-east, Laval-en-Brie to the south and Échouboulains to the south-west .
