Rozay-en-Brie is a French commune with 2,826 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement Provins and the canton of Fontenay-Trésigny . The inhabitants are called Rozéens .
geography
Rozay-en-Brie is located about 50 kilometers southeast of Paris in the Brie countryside . In the north of the municipality the Yerres flows . Rozay-en-Brie is surrounded by the neighboring communities Lumigny-Nesles-Ormeaux in the north, Voinsles in the east and Bernay-Vilbert in the south and southwest.
Route nationale 4 (formerly Route nationale 304 ) runs through the municipality .
