Voinsles is a French municipality with 596 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement Provins and the canton of Fontenay-Trésigny (until 2015: canton of Rozay-en-Brie ). The inhabitants are called Vincelais .
geography
Voinsles is about 37 kilometers east-southeast of Paris . The river Yerres limits the municipality to the north, its tributary Visandre crosses the municipality. Voinsles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Touquin in the north, Le Plessis-Feu-Aussoux in the north and north-east, Vaudoy-en-Brie in the east, Pécy in the south-east, Gastins and La Chapelle-Iger in the south, Bernay-Vilbert in the south-west, Rozay- en-Brie in the west and Lumigny-Nesles-Ormeaux in the north-west.
The National Route 4 runs through the municipality .
