Touquin is a French commune with 1,206 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of Coulommiers (until 2015: canton of Rozay-en-Brie ). The inhabitants are called Touquinois .
geography
Touquin is located about 51 kilometers east-southeast of Paris on the Yerres River . Touquin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Faremoutiers in the north and north-west, Beautheil-Saints in the north and east, Vaudoy-en-Brie in the south-east, Le Plessis-Feu-Aussoux in the south, Voinsles in the south and south-west, Lumigny-Nesles-Ormeaux in the west and Pézarches in the northwest.
