Villevaudé is a French commune with 2,122 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Meaux and the Canton of Villeparisis (until March 2015: Canton Claye-Souilly ). The inhabitants are called Villevaudéens .

geography

Villevaudé is about 30 kilometers east of Paris. Villevaudé is surrounded by the neighboring communities Claye-Souilly in the north and northeast, Annet-sur-Marne in the east and northeast, Carnetin in the southeast, Pomponne in the south and southeast, Brou-sur-Chantereine in the southwest and Le Pin in the west.

The A104 autoroute runs along the western and southwestern edge of the municipality .
