Chailly-en-Brie is a French commune with 1,394 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Meaux and the Canton of Coulommiers . The inhabitants are called Caïbotins .

geography

Chailly-en-Brie is about 56 kilometers east of Paris on the Grand Morin River , which borders the municipality to the north. Chailly-en-Brie is surrounded by the neighboring communities Boissy-le-Châtel in the north, Saint-Siméon in the east, Marolles-en-Brie in the southeast, Amillis in the south, Beautheil-Saints in the southwest and Coulommiers in the west.
