Étrépilly is a French municipality with 889 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and is part of the canton of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre (until 2015: canton of Lizy-sur-Ourcq ). The inhabitants are called Étrépillois (also Sterpiliaciens ).

Étrépilly is located about nine kilometers northeast of Meaux and about 47 kilometers east-northeast of Paris on the River Thérouanne . Étrépilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Puisieux in the north and north-west, Vincy-Manœuvre in the north and north-east, Trocy-en-Multien in the east, Congis-sur-Thérouanne in the south-east, Varreddes in the south, Chambry and Barcy in the south-west and Marcilly in the west.
