Villiers-sur-Morin is a French commune with 1,926 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of Serris (until 2015: canton of Crécy-la-Chapelle ). The inhabitants are called Villermorinois .

Villiers-sur-Morin is located about 29 kilometers east of Paris on the Grand Morin River , which forms the northeastern municipal boundary. Villiers-sur-Morin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Couilly-Pont-aux-Dames in the north and north-west, Crécy-la-Chapelle in the east and north-east, Voulangis in the east and south-east, Villeneuve-le-Comte in the south and south-west, and Coutevroult in the West and Saint-Germain-sur-Morin to the west.
The National Route 36 runs through the municipality .
