Forfry is a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne in the Ile-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Claye-Souilly (until 2015 canton of Dammartin-en-Goële ) in the Meaux arrondissement . It is bordered by Oissery to the northwest , Douy-la-Ramée to the northeast, Marcilly to the southeast, Gesvres-le-Chapitre to the south and Saint-Soupplets to the southwest . The inhabitants call themselves Forferois or Forferoises , derived from the former place name "Forfery".
