Marchémoret is a French municipality with 564 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of Mitry-Mory (until 2015: canton of Dammartin-en-Goële ). The inhabitants are called Marchois .

Marchémoret is located about 38 kilometers northeast of Paris . Marchémoret is surrounded by the neighboring communities Lagny-le-Sec in the north, Saint-Pathus in the northeast, Oissery in the east, Saint-Soupplets in the southeast, Montgé-en-Goële in the south, Saint-Mard in the west and southwest and Rouvres in the west and Northwest.
