Le Plessis-Placy is a French municipality with 268 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre (until 2015: canton Lizy-sur-Ourcq ).

Le Plessis-Placy is about 13 kilometers northeast of Meaux . Le Plessis-Placy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rosoy-en-Multien in the north, May-en-Multien in the east and northeast, Lizy-sur-Ourcq in the east and southeast, Congis-sur-Thérouanne in the south, Trocy-en-Multien in the west and south-west and Vincy-Manœuvre in the north-west.
