Changis-sur-Marne is a French commune with 1,261 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre . The inhabitants are called Changissiens .
geography
Changis-sur-Marne is about ten kilometers east of Meaux in an arch of the Marne . Changis-sur-Marne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Armentières-en-Brie in the north and west, Ussy-sur-Marne in the east and Saint-Jean-les-Deux-Jumeaux in the south.
The archaeological site of Les Pétreaux is located in Changis-sur-Marne.
