Sammeron is a French commune with 1,125 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre . The inhabitants are called Sammeronais .
geography
Sammeron is about 14 kilometers east of Meaux on the Marne , which borders the municipality in the north. Sammeron is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ussy-sur-Marne in the north, Sept-Sorts in the east, Jouarre in the south, Signy-Signets in the south and Saint-Jean-les-Deux-Jumeaux in the west.
