The river Grand Morin runs through Saint-Germain-sur-Morin, which is about 35 kilometers east of Paris . Saint-Germain-sur-Morin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Couilly-Pont-aux-Dames in the north and north-east, Villiers-sur-Morin and Coutevroult in the east and south-east, Magny-le-Hongre in the south and south-west and Montry in the west.
