The Grand Morin , sometimes just called the Morin , is a river in France that runs through the Grand Est and Île-de-France regions. It rises in the municipality of Lachy and generally drains in a westerly direction. After 118 kilometers, the river flows into the Marne as a left tributary at Condé-Sainte-Libiaire . On his way he crosses the Marne and Seine-et-Marne departments .

In the estuary, from Saint-Germain-sur-Morin , it is accompanied by the Canal latéral du Grand Morin , which joins the Canal de Meaux à Chalifert at Esbly . However, these canals are no longer used for shipping .
