Montry is a French municipality with 3631 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Meaux and the Canton of Serris . The inhabitants are called Montéricultois (es) .

geography

The Grand Morin River runs through Montry, about 30 kilometers east of Paris . Montry is surrounded by the neighboring communities Condé-Sainte-Libiaire in the north, Couilly-Pont-aux-Dames in the east and northeast, Saint-Germain-sur-Morin in the east and southeast, Magny-le-Hongre in the south, Coupvray in the west and Southwest and Esbly in the northwest.

The National Route 34 runs through the municipality .
