Bruno Fornaroli , full name Bruno Fornaroli Mezza , (born September 7, 1987 in Salto ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.75 meter tall, "Tuna" called offensive player Fornaroli comes from the youth department of Nacional Montevideos . At the beginning of his career he was in the first division squad since the Apertura 2006. Up to and including the Clausura 2008 he scored eleven goals there in the Primera División . He then moved to Italy to Sampdoria Genoa . According to Nacional club president Ricardo Alarcón, the transfer conditions included the payment of a transfer fee by the club from the Italian port city of three million euros for 50 percent of the transfer rights. With the Genoese he played five games (no goal) in Serie A and four games (two goals) in the Europa League in the 2008/09 season . This was followed in the Clausura 2009 as part of a loan of a station in Argentina at San Lorenzo de Almagro, initially for a period of half a year with a 100,000 euro extension option for another year . In addition, the Argentines secured a purchase option of 5.5 million euros. He has made 12 appearances and two goals in the Argentine Primera División as well as three games (no goal) in the Copa Libertadores . After six months, however, he returned to Sampdoria. At his subsequent employer Recreativo Huelva , which he joined on loan at the end of August 2009, the statistics show him in 17 games (two goals) in the Liga Adelante and three games (one goal) in the Copa del Rey in the 2009/10 season out. Since July 2010 he was back in the ranks of Sampdorias. Until his next move in January 2011, he played another first division game (no goal) for the Italians. At the time mentioned, he joined Nacional Montevideo on loan. With the "Bolsos" he contributed nine appearances in the Primera División and four goals to winning the Uruguayan championship title of the 2010/11 season. He also came into play in four clashes (no goal) in the context of the Copa Libertadores. In the 2011/12 season he was again player Sampdoria Genoas. Eleven times (no goals) he ran in the Serie B on. In July 2012 he moved to Greece to Panathinaikos Athens . In the 2012/13 season there were 17 first division appearances (no goal) for him. His usage statistics also show three Champions League , four Europa League games (each without scoring) and two domestic cup games (two goals). He left the Greeks in mid-January 2014 to work for Danubio FC in his Uruguayan homeland. In the 2014 Clausura he played 14 games in the Primera División, scored two goals and won the 2013/14 championship with the club. In July 2014, the Montevideans loaned Fornaroli to the Brazilian club Figueirense FC . There he was, however, in the Brazilian Série A not used. Since the beginning of 2015 he is back in the ranks of Danubio. In the 2014/15 season he made eleven appearances (three goals) in the Primera División and six (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Libertadores . After the 2015 Clausura, he and Danubio confirmed his move to Melbourne City in Australia in July 2015 . In the 2015/16 season he played 29 league games and scored 25 goals for the Australians - including two goals in two appearances in the final round. This made him the top scorer in the A-League . In addition, he has so far (as of January 25, 2017) scored seven times in six appearances in the FFA Cup and has since played 16 games in the 2016/17 season , in which he scored eleven times in the opposing goal.

National team

Fornaroli had been a member of the Uruguayan U-17 national team coached by Jorge Da Silva since at least March 2003 . With this he took part in the U-17 South American Championship in Bolivia in 2003 .
