Vaucourtois is a French municipality with 256 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Meaux and the canton of Serris (until 2015: canton of Crécy-la-Chapelle ). The inhabitants are called Vaucourtoisiens .
geography
Vaucourtois is about 44 kilometers east of Paris . Vaucourtois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Boutigny in the north and north-west, Villemareuil in the north-east, La Haute-Maison in the east and south-east, Sancy in the south and Coulommes in the west and south-west.
The A4 autoroute runs along the north-western edge of the municipality .
